Real-Time Embedded MCU Software Engineer

Job description

AKVA Technologies, CJSC is looking for Real-Time Embedded MCU Software Engineer to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing cutting-edge applications and technology.
Our infrastructure is perfectly designed for remote programming and debugging of embedded devices by the developer without being present in the laboratory.

Responsibilities

  • Develop real-time software across different embedded/edge platforms in the domain of top ARM Cortex-M/Cortex-R microcontrollers

  • Develop or customize board support packages (BSP), device drivers, for our hardware to provide additional functionality, e.g. software updates, security, and optimization

Qualifications
 

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience developing, testing and debugging real-time embedded systems, including bare metal, RTOS, based on edge/embedded ARM MCU Cortex-M, Cortex-R microcontrollers

  • Strong experience in ARM CMSIS (Common Microcontroller Software Interface Standard)

  • Experience in Keil MDK-ARM (Microcontroller Development Kit)

  • Experience in JTAG MCU debugging

  • Familiar with programming and implementing communication interfaces such as UART, I2C, SPI, QSPI, RS-232, RS-485, USB, CAN, Ethernet, JTAG, etc.

  • Strong knowledge of C(C11/C18) and C++, libc standard library, Git

  • Knowledge of thread-safety code, reentrant functions, etc
